Savannah Snow (she/ her pronouns) is a member of AAWEAR’s Red Deer Chapter, Rockin’ Resilience, and is the current Treasurer for the Board of Directors.

Savannah lives on Treaty 6, but her family is Denae from Treaty 8. She is the cyclebreaker of her family – “a matriarch of addiction and grief will be ended with me.”

“I have lived experience of homelessness and addiction. I have a fair amount of previous Board experience, beginning at the little age of 22 by joining a committee to move our business campus from downtown to main campus.

I currently sit on the Red Deer Native Friendship Centre Board and on the Alberta Indigenous Youth Council. In my downtime (yes, I have downtime), I like to play and make video games.

I’m here to keep the services alive that have kept my family alive, empower people into accepting themselves as they are, and kick some policy butt!”
